January 07 - PROMOTIONAL MARKETING 101

To help potential and past customers meet their revenue and growth goals for 2007, this e-news bulletin offers three tips:

1. Develop your LISTS

2. Determine how e-mail marketing can be used to support your business

3. Call or e-mail Pizazz!

"Promotional Marketing" starts with an understanding of your customers and prospects. We develop marketing programs to "promote" your products and/or services. It goes beyond awareness to ensure interaction with prospects and customers that will lead to trial, repeat purchase and referrals.

DEVELOP YOUR LISTS: Who are your customers and prospects? Where is that contact information stored? When was the last time you cleaned up that list? This 'chore' can be one of the most valuable things you do to grow your business.

One of our customers, Garden City Groundskeeping invested $3,000 to have Pizazz do an outbound telemarketing clean-up of their prospect lists. In just one month, they landed a $10,000 commercial landscaping contract plus five opportunities to quote on new business.

HOW CAN E-MAIL MARKETING SUPPORT YOUR BUSINESS?
Our e-mail news bulletins are sent using eNewsDesk software which we now offer to customers through our alliance with Clearview Internet Solutions. You can either license the software for use on your own computer(s) or we can run your e-mail campaigns for you. For e-mails that stand out from the crowd, please call us or e-mail sales@pizazzpromo.com for a 15-day FREE trial.

CALL 905-842-2910 OR EMAIL: sales@pizazzpromo.com

It doesn't take expensive software to have a productive contact list. Any of the commercially available contact management tools will work.

For smaller businesses, we recommend: Time & Chaos - you can link a common database through a peer-to-peer network. It's very cost-effective and easy to implement.

The most important thing is to develop the practice of regularly maintaining and updating your contact list(s).
